Junior Scientist – Color Matcher – Cosmetics
Essential Job Functions
  • Match colors in various cosmetic mediums including fingernail coatings
  • Create, maintain, and organize color standards for production and QC
  • Create, maintain and organize electronic documentation
  • Assist production in matching color formulations
  • Perform stability testing for color fading and product stability per GLP guidelines
  • Utilize appropriate techniques and software as needed to match and document color
  • Interact with laboratories, sales teams and customers in other global locations
 Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with pigments or colorants
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Education/Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree in a technical field (chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, etc) desired but not mandatory
