Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee dental product development, including 3D Printing Resins projects.
  • Manage dental projects, including coordinating and overseeing regular project-based cross-functional team meetings, preparing and circulating meeting agenda, notes, and action items, preparing and maintaining project schedules and a portfolio overview, managing critical path items and deadlines, preparing and circulating monthly project status updates
  • Assess new product opportunities, including investigating issues surrounding manufacturing, supply, regulatory, sales potential and market sizes, pricing, hurdles to commercial success, etc.
  • Assist with mergers and acquisition work, including due diligence and strategy, as needed
  • Coordinate interactions between dental working groups, including technical, sales, operations, quality and regulatory (QAREG), and customer service
  • Handle necessary project management and product development documentation as necessary to comply with QAREG requirements, governmental regulations and ISO standards
  • Participate in meetings of the dental management group, as needed
  • Assist with regulatory tasks for dental, as needed, including preparing documentation, technical files and submissions
  • Interact with and manage external relationships as needed with vendors, strategic partners, suppliers, prospective customers and customers
  • Trade show attendance and support
  • Participate in market research and proof of concept work for projects and products in development
  • Coordinate internal and external training activities
  • Coordinate with outside consultants
  • Assist the Dental Group President with tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ dental or comparable industry experience
  • Project Management skills and training
  • Strong Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- ability to interface and communicate/collaborate at all levels internally and externally
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and Word
  • Experience with ISO – quality assurance / quality control systems
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA, cGMP, OSHA, EPA standards required
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with ERP, MRP or similar Inventory Management System

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
