Job Description

Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Assume all duties of the Warehouse Manager in the event of their absence.

Assist in the supervision (and performance as needed) of all Warehouse functions including but not limited to:  product handling and storage, order picking, packing, invoicing and shipping.

Assist in evaluation, training and supervision of Warehouse personnel

Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure deadlines are met.

Develops, recommends, and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to improve packing methods.

Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems

Estimate time, and staffing requirements for given orders, based on size of orders, job specifications.

Inform designated employees or departments of item problems encountered.

Inspect warehouse areas for maintenance repairs needed and schedule them.

Inventory supplies and requisition or purchase additional items, as necessary.

Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.


High School diploma or equivalent


Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to delegate duties.

Knowledge of Warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, packing, invoicing and shipping.

Familiarity with Keystone Warehouse organization, activities and products.

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems

Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and meet deadlines.

Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, UPS Manifest, invoicing and computer.

Knowledge of UPS/Fed Ex systems.

Understanding of D.O.T. Hazard Material classifications and packing, labeling and shipping requirements.

Ability to operate stand-up and sit down forklifts

IATA and IMO Certified training

Hazardous and Dangerous Goods Shipping certificate required

Knowledge of proper labeling and export documentation requirements for each shipping method (i.e. customs forms, shipper’s letters of instruction, certificate of mailing, etc.)


Minimum Experience.

3-5 yrs. Experience in a warehouse setting, Experience operating a forklift and Crown truck.
